Why do many students fail WAEC exams?

The results have been falling for the past years. Is it that WAEC is getting harder or that students are getting dumber?

Re: Why do many students fail WAEC exams Reply by Influence on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 19:45:3: My opinion is that waec is not getting harder is the student that is getting dumber the reason is because most student dont prepare for their exam jst because of what they call shukul exam (malpractice) they relie on it which at time fail them and most of the people giving them the shukule are not guru why wont they fail. My solution to this is that waec should change paper type to cbt i guess dat wud make students to prepare cus nobody there to teach them.

1:inadequate teaching facility
2:students fails to read b4 exam date
3:waec question are not direct for students to understand
4: fake answer from miracles centers
