Every year, it seems that the performance by students have never improved but rather keeps depreciating. There is realy a higher number of students who fail the WAEC exams than compared to the number that pass. In this year's result, the outcome was awful as less than 40% were able to obtain a minimum of 5 credits in the SSCE and these are candidates just fresh out of secondary school.

Chances are that most of them would repeat the exam and this brings more revenue for WAEC. By the time some of these same people add up to the numbers of students who have been repeating WAEC GCE for the previous years, the numbers keep increasing and this still brings more income to WAEC.

Bad performance reflects poorly on WAEC and it is also economically straining for students who retake the exams to secure a sound future. WAEC needs to do something to ensure that students are adequately prepared for the exam in order to reduce the mas failures.

WHY is that WAEC can't consider some of their costumers(those who repeat waec every year)?
