It's official! The results for the 2012 May/June SSCE has been released by WAEC according to news reports. Candidates who participated in that exam can now check for their results at WAEC offices or online at waecdirect.org.

According to a newspaper report on page 3 of The Guardian, 1,672,224 results were released while about 150,874 results were withheld. Also a new Head of Nigeria National Office(HNO) or Reigstrar in the person of Mr Charles Eguridu has been appointed to replace Mr Uwadiae.

The exams were held in May/June 2012 and have been released about 2 months later in August 2012.

A total of 1,695,878 candidates had registered for the exam and only about 56% got 5 credits and above.

    cant seem to see the 2012 result, the most recent one is 2011.

    pls sir, my result was held this yr again, my centre no is 4291434159. To whom it may concarn i beg u in the name of almigty God to pls release it bcos my result that was held last as been canceal this yr and this yr result is my only last hope on earth bcos nobody to help eversince i lost my father, and my mother have spend the little we have on this particular exam, pls mr/mrs waec have mercy on me and my family also my pastor is pleading with me over here and i pray that as u release my release my result this yr the almighty God will release ur breakthrough (amen....     I don't really know any worker in the waec office but please waec officers I'm pleading not only on my behalf but also those who have already taken post-ume and jamb... Please WAEC officers help us, we really need to see our result please... This is a once in a life time opportunity for me. I really need to make the papers. It's not our right to tell you what to do but we are still pleading help us so we can have hope thanks
